Christmas is such a great time of year. In Hawaii, you never really get the full feeling of the holidays, as it's pretty much 80 degrees every day of the year. We do get festive, decorate our houses and see Santa at the mall, but it's never had the feeling you get when you're in NY or the midwest. I have been in either for the past 5 Christmas's and it's beautiful. It's just like in the movies. I know that sounds weird, but the only way you ever saw snow, was on TV or in the movies. Mac's dad asked me, on my first Christmas day in Minnesota, "what is it like being from a place that you never have this, to being here now?" my response, "I feel like I'm in a movie, I know I sound like a 10 year old, but it's true." It was. We went sledding down the hill behind his cabin, it was amazing. I absolutely cannot wait to be back there this year.

Good times...I need a break from the city, and what better time?!!
