random dream

with my dad, sister and brother in new york. a friend (not a close friend, more like an aquaintance, which makes it even more random) joins us. she has a vibrator and starts fake humping my butt with it. (weirdest part) then she goes with my (married) brother upstairs. i'm thinking they're doing something naughty. she comes downstairs with a face of distress and said she did something bad and made my brother cry. i said "i knew you were doing something bad" and i ran upstairs to my brother who was sitting at the bar counter eating something. he just had a pissed off face on. she had "jokingly" cut his hand with a knife.

he's pissed, then my dad is pissed and as we are leaving the restaurant he wants doesn't want to give my friend a ride home because she hurt my brother. so i walk outside and my dad, brother and sister are all on matching black schwinn bikes and my dad is holding another for me. it was like his way of not having to give my friend a ride home. i was like, oh shit, and went to my friend and she was almost crying saying that she was sorry and she was really worried that it was going to ruin our friendship. i reassured her that it wouldn't and that things would be the same as they were, and not to worry about it.

we leave, and i kill it on the bike. in real life i have really been dying for a bike, so in my dream i was extremely excited that my dad bought me a really fancy, expensive bike. i somehow turned into an amazing bike rider, as opposed to the horrible rider i am in real life. i made a huge, wide turn and my tire blows out. we get a guy to fix it,....and that's all i remember.

i swear to god i have the most random dreams of anyone i know. but then again my friends don't really tell me many of their dreams. but my dreams come out of left field. like include people i haven't seen in years, people that i am not really that close to, jump from one thing to another. weird.

Local Kine Grinez- Kalani Pig battle!

My favorite places to eat in Hawaii:

Kin Wah Chop Suey in Kaneohe.
Clip of an old tv show called "Local Kine Grinez" one of the mokest shows ever..

Zippy's.

24 hour take out/dine in goodness. After a long night at the club, or for a dinner with your family or an after beach grine sesh.

Kua'aina Burgers.

Boots and Kimo's. Right down the street from my parents house in Kailua. You will never have a better pancake, I PROMISE you.

Genki Sushi. It's one of those sushi plates on a moving display and you pick what you want, which could be bad, but at Genki in Hawaii it's always so busy that the sushi is always fresh. I always opt for a bunch of their spicy tuna hand rolls, because they are the best spicy tuna rolls EVER, but they have all kinds of other amazing rolls.

Peppa's Korean BBQ. The quickest, cheapest, most delicious korean take out food. Right next to the high school I went to, so it was convenient too.

That's all I got for tonight, but the list goes on and on....

BRUUUUUUCE!!

Last night, me and a bunch of friends went to the Bruce Springsteen concert at the Giants Stadium. We didn't really know where our seats were until we got in and realized that we had floor/general admission tickets which meant we were on the field with free range to walk around and work our way to the front. It was AMAZING!! I have some videos which I will upload later (taking too long) but here are some photos I took. We were so close!

at the end of one of his songs, he left his hat and boots on the stage...

Photobucket

He walked through the crowd to the middle fence and climbed up! From there, he crowd surfed back to the stage!! You can kinda see it on the screen in the next photo...

zara

i NEVER shop at Zara, only been in there twice in 5 and a half years living here, but i just went in there last night and they have some cute shoes. i didn't even know they did shoes, or that many anyway. there were at least 3 that i liked. might even buy one. we'll see what happens. looking at their site, looks like they have some decent clothes too, but could just be good styling and photography. plus a beautiful model, that combo makes anything look good. i'm gonna go back and check it out tomorrow and see if they are as cute as i thought. who knows, coulda just been that i really wanted to buy something last night. haha. ohhh shopping, how i love it.

weekend wedding...

Here are some pictures from the wedding I went to with Mac this weekend. It was beautiful, fun and everyone was so sweet.

The first night we stayed at Mac's friend Gavin's parents house (gavin with us in the first picture). His parents are the nicest, most giving, put together set of parents I have ever met. We were offered lasagna, iced tea, lemonade, blueberry coffee cake, as soon as we arrived. They had our rooms made and they actually made me and Mac sleep in separate rooms!! It was SOOOO weird. I felt awkward sleeping alone in their house, but it ended up fine. Wedding was the next day. Mac was an usher so I hung with Gavin and his other friends before the ceremony. Everything was just perfect. They church, the reception (at a country club) the bride and groom, the food was good, the music,..coulda been better, but everyone, including all of the older family members were killing the dancefloor. It was adorable.

The bride told me that multiple people asked her if I was an actress/movie star,....uhh that doesn't make sense. Who could they have thought I was? I was one of 2 asian people at the wedding, and there are only like 2 or 3 known asian actresses. None of which I look like, so...it was strange.

we continued the party at the holiday inn where we were all staying. We stayed at the hotel bar until around 2:30 or 3, and then headed up to the bride and groom's hotel room, where we ended the night. back to our room for sleep til 11am check out. It was a great time, little getaways are the best.
