i need to change up my style...

i have been thinking about how boring i am with style nowadays. i see other people's blogs where they kinda log their daily outfits, and it got me thinking. maybe i should start doing it,..well i probabaly won't post them because i hate pictures of myself, but it might be nice for me to have a log of them to really see what i look like from day to day. it's not as easy to do that when you just dress quick every day and then come home and take it all off. i have a lot of clothes, most of which i do not wear. most of which i should throw out because i will most likely never wear them again. i need a change, but changing your style is an expensive task, and i i am sure i am not prepared for that. i have been adding small pieces here and there, but this cannot keep going. i'm trying to save up for a trip! anyway, here are a couple of looks that are totally not my style, nor do i think they would work on me, but i can say that i appreciate them.

i am also thinking about how much i want to get into florals this winter, but i also don't think that is really gonna happen. we just got in the Cacharel X Liberty line, and they are adorable florals, but looking at them on the rack or on someone else is really a whole different story than actually wearing it, and having it represent you. I feel like clothing really represents who you are. it could make you look cheesy, smart, trying too hard, trying just enough, laid back, perfect...all of these things and many more. i really don't like looking like i try to hard, so i just understate everything that i do, including getting dressed. some girls dress up all the time and it looks natural and not a big deal, but because i dress down so much, when i put on a pair of heels, or earrings, or extra makeup, i am all of a sudden really dressed up. i mean i guess that's a good thing that it can be a dramatic change, and not just the same shit all the time, but i very rarely get a chance to dress up. i usually feel like there needs to be a reason, a purpose for the dress up. i know i shouldn't think that way, but that's just how i am when it comes to clothes. just don't try too hard.
